On the occasion of Global Money Week 2024, Gandaki Province of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has completed a financial literacy program on 2080/12/09 in Pokhara, targeting Heads and Representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations. The program was attended by 55 people including Heads and Representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations.
The program was held under the presence of Mr. Sudip Tripathi, Deputy Director of Nepal Rastra Bank, Pokhara Branch. He highlighted the purpose of Global Money Week 2024 and the importance of financial literacy. DSP of the District Police Office was also present as a Guest in the program. Mr. Shravan B.K. gave his words about the challenges of cyber security, online fraud and digital banking. The Financial Literacy Program was chaired by Mr. Bishnu Prasad Gautam, Regional Head, Pokhara Region. During this, the Regional Head, Mr. Bishnu Prasad Gautam highlighted the importance of savings and good use of credit.
The presentation of the program was done by Mr. Sushil Bhattarai, Head of Newroad Branch, while the program was conducted by Mr. Krishna Hari Sigdel, Branch Manager of Srijana Chowk Branch.
