To finance fund required for agriculture activities (establishing or expanding agricultural project based income generation activities such as Dairy, Fishery, Poultry, Fruit and flower farming, Fertilizer, pesticides and insecticides, Medical herbs (Jadibuti), Tobacco, Jute, other cash crops, sugarcane, big cardamom and ginger and other farming, animal husbandry and slaughter house, bee keeping and other agriculture related business and to purchase agriculture equipment and any other agriculture works).

Target Groups

  • Farmers involved in vocational agriculture in medium scale capacity Farmers associated in Land Bank and/or any other land uses policy form local /province government shall be given priority in coordination with local/province government

  • Term/OD/Demand loan
  • Loan limit up to NPR 5 Million (minimum loan limit 1,500,001.00).
  • Maximum up to 80% of the Fair market value of real estate collateral
  • For Term Loan: Maximum up to 50 years from initial date of disbursement.
  • For Overdraft/Demand Loan: Maximum up to 1 year renewal subject to satisfactory account conduction.
  • Interest Rate: Subject to management’s decision upon time to time
  • EMI or EQI (up to 10 years) for Term Loan
  • Acceptance of Real estate collateral security:
  • i. Residential/commercial property having access of at least 8 ft. motorable road access
  • ii. Residential/commercial property having at least access of  “Goreto” road
  • Agricultural land without road access (Must be at least minimum 10 kattha or equivalent area for acceptance as collateral security

Applicant and Eligibility

  • Applicant's age should have completed 18 years but not exceed 70 years
  • Entities/Businesses registered with government authority
  • Foreign return youth involved in agriculture sector
  • Farmers associated with Land Bank and any other land uses policy of local/Province government

  • Copies of citizenship of borrower (in case of natural person) & guarantor/s
  • Copy of business registration certificate with concerned government authority, PAN certificate, VAT Certificate (as per applicability), share lagat, partnership deed, AOA, MOA, Minute, financial statements, etc. (if registered/ applicable)
  • Documents certifying regular income source for repayment of loan. Such documents may be certified by local government/issued from various private/semi-government/government office and/or self-declared income by borrower/guarantor (subject to verification of BM/RM)
  • Other security documents such as loan deed, promissory note, loan dead, Personal guarantee and mortgage deed as pre described by bank CPG
  • Copy of Land Ownership Certificate (Lalpurja) Land revenue paid receipt, four boundary certificate, blue print and trace map, and other relevant documents related to collateral
  • Consent of family members of undivided family members/legal heirs of borrower/collateral owner.
