Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited has conducted financial literacy at Shree Brahmachari Damodaranand College through its branch office, Mirchaiya as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The program was aimed at both graduate and post-graduate students of the college, attracting participation from over 70 students, as well as the Campus Chief and several faculty members. The program covered a range of important topics, including effective financial management, strategies for savings and budgeting, and the nuances of digital banking. Additionally, it addressed safety measures and vigilances needed in digital banking sphere to protect against fraud and other risks.
During the program, College Chief Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sah expressed his appreciation for the program, highlighting its positive impact on both students and teachers. He noted that the knowledge shared would greatly benefit the participants in managing their finances more effectively.
Furthermore, the bank plans to continue its financial literacy efforts. The bank intends to coordinate and collaborate with related stakeholders to offer similar programs in the future supporting financial education in the community.
